oh crap!

my $200 flower class is going down the drain. I was there for only 3 classes. hah gees... really cant find time to go, and also too tired(read: lazy) during the weeknds.

oh btw, I said 'crap!' on tv. luckily it's webtv.. and it's not exactly vulgarity. or else might haf to do a J. Seah apology.

Well, work has been...erm...un-bloggable cos there's too many ups and downs. But in a nutshell, it has been really exciting. Some colleagues make good friends, others make great fun. It's great bitching with them and sipping on white wine and glurping beer every now and then in the office. hah...

oh well crap...i hope there wun be too many Bhumibol Adulyadejsssss in tomorrow's read! rah.

every single day

lies a new excitement, a new challenge.

I can never NEVER expect what is going to happen.
Which really keeps me on my toes.
And my mind spinning at top speed.
And keeps good pumping heart circulation.

And at the same time,
the aching backs,
the criticisms,
the smudge makeup,
the growling rumbling stomach....

ARGH.... talk about love-hate relationship ;)

a film comes along and makes you sit up.

Mad About English reminds me why I love documentaries. It's putting the real and raw together to send a messsage straight to the head. The director, and mind you she's from sunny Singapore, probably took years to conceptualise and follow the subjects in their everyday life to see how learning english in China has changed them. Some for the better, others for the best.

And if you haven't feel the earth shattering vibes from the opening ceremony of the beijing olympics, the film drives home the point: the West will take a backseat cos' China is going to take the world by storm.
Go watch it, it's goooood stuff!

i finished shooting my first piece of work yesterday.
